Bohemia Balet in the month of February of 2011
On the 5th of Ferbruary Bohemia Balet will perform at the Ball in the State Opera of Prague. The performance will include the Polonaise from the opera Rusalka composed by A. Dvořák and choreographed by J.Slavický, the valse and adagio from the ballet Le Corsaire and the Cancan by Offenbach and Sabongui.
On the 20th of February the company will perform at the Estates Theatre. Commencing at 19:00 hrs the spectacle will start with the ballet Suite en blanc/Lao,Lifar/. This will be followed by Večerní písně (Evening chansons) /Dvořák, Kylián/, Indigo Rose /Daffan, Kylián/, Písně potulného tovaryše /Mahler, Kylián/. In the final part of the performance the company will present itself in the choreography Rose /Spirituál Kvintet, Zuska/.
On the 26th of Ferbruary, commencing at 14:00 the premiere of Les Sylphides will be performed at the Estates by Bohemia Balet.
At 18:00 in the evening of the 26th of February there shall be yet another reprise of the thriving dance fantasy The Little Match Girl /Yawata, Kasai/.
On the 26th of February the comapny is invited to take part in a performance held by Primus Vesper Maximus – Theatre Maximus / artistic director David Strnad/ at Janáčkovo Theatre in Brno. Members of the Bohemia Balet will perform Trio g minor/ Smetana, Šmok/.
On the 27th of February starting at 19:00, the Concert of the Dance Conservatory of Brno will be held at Janáčkovo Theatre. As hosting dancers, members of Bohemia Balet will present the choreography Twins /Massive Attack, drapalíková/.
