Návrat z turné po Číně / Return from a tour in China
Ve dnech 11. - 23. 12. se uskutečnil zájezd Bohemia Baletu – souboru Taneční konzervatoře hl. m. Prahy do Číny. Soubor byl pozván Beijing Comprehensive Art a Culture Communication CO., Ltd . k účasti na mezinárodním projektu ke 200. výročí narození skladatele Fryderika Chopina nazvaném Chopin en pointe. Společně s Bohemia Baletem vystoupili v představení čínská primabalerina Sisi Qiu, která po studiích v Číně absolvovala na Taneční akademii v Mannheimu a 3 roky byla členkou Bavorského státního baletu v Mnichově, dále mezinárodní baletní „star“ Alen Bottaini, dlouholetý první sólista Bavorského státního baletu v Mnichově, sólista baletu Berlínské opery Marian Walter, polský pianista Nikodém Wojciechowski, čínská zpěvačka Wu Guoling, americký jazzový pianista Jewel Wendel Fortenberry III a kubánský percusionista Jorge David Smith Juarez.
Orchestr řídil čínský dirigent Xiotang Wu Guoling. Bohemia Balet vystoupil především v prvním čínském uvedení baletu Les Sylphides v choreografii M.Fokina a také v úvodní Grande polonaise briliante Es dur pro klavír a orchestr, 2 Chopinových mazurkách a v závěrečném defilé na Chopinovu Polonézu As dur. Představení se konala v Grande Theatre v Shangai, v Opeře v Guandzhou /Kanton/ a v Grande Theatre v Pekingu.
BOHEMIA BALET – the dance company of the Dance Conservatory of Prague returned from a tour in China which took its course from the 11th – 23rd of December 2010. The company was invited by the Beijing Comprehensive Art and Culture Communication CO., Ltd, to participate in an international project – Chopin en pointe - held to the occassion of the 200th birth anniversary of the composer Frederik Chopin. Bohemia Balet performed together with a number of international artists including: Chinese primaballerina - Sisi Qiu, who after finishing her training in China graduated at the dance academy of Mannhein and for 3 years has been a member of the Bavarian National Ballet in Munich, international ballet etoile and principal solist of the Bavarian National Ballet in Munich - Alen Bottaini, solist of the ballet company of Berlin’s Opera - Marian Walter, Polish pianist - Nikodém Wojciechowski, Chinese singer - Wu Guoling, American jazz pianist - Jewel Wendel Fortenberry III and Cuban percusionist - Jorge David Smith Juarez.
The orchestra was conducted by Xiotang Wu Guoling. Bohemia Balet performed mainly in: Les Sylphides in the choreography of M. Fokin, the opening Grande polonaise briliante Es dur for piano and orchestra, 2 of Chopin’s mazurkas and in the ending defile to the music of Chopin’s Polonaise As dur. Performances were held at the Grande Theater in Shangai, at the Opera of Guandzhou/Kanton/ and at the Grande Theater in Beijing.
